What’s included in Streamlabs Ultra?
Streamlabs acquired by Logitech in 2019, and had many funding in the previous years. So we can say, that there’s a push behind them to create more value, than a startup or a beginner company. Basically that’s one reason why they started building different tools besides their main software and services, Streamlabs OBS. Until now, they had Streamlabs Prime subscription, which was dedicated to only Streamlabs services, like overlays, etc.
Right now, in Streamlabs Ultra they put together their different tools and selling in a package. Streamlabs Ultra subscription contains the following tools:
- Streamlabs Desktop Ultra

Streamlabs Desktop means Streamlabs OBS. We wrote many articles about it, as well as compared with StreamElements. Basically it is a software that built upon OBS Studio (which made some noise, because of some copyright), and contains their services, like widgets, overlays, transitions and more.
If you are using Streamlabs for donations, tipping, or for chatbot, that this software is your right choice.
Streamlabs Mobile Ultra

With more advanced mobiles, more hardware power, streaming on phone never been easier than right now. We can find other streaming apps, but we can simply say, this app is the market-leader right now.

Streamlabs Console

However in consoles, you can stream instantly by the built-in softwares, in Xbox you have the option to use Streamlabs as a streaming app. (As we can see PS right now is not supported.) The pro’s that you get with using this, that the customizable options, and you can build scenes without using your PC. That’s a big feature, so personalization of your streaming made easier.
Of course, If you’re take a step toward, you will need a streaming PC, which will uses the Xbox or PS screen as an input, but this solution make a good middle solution, between default and the more advanced PC streaming.

Melon is a browser-based streaming app, that helps you create instant lives from your computer without any installation. Also you can easily invite others, again without any software to join your stream. And there’s also a multi-streaming opportunity, therefore stream to YouTube, Facebook and Twitch at once.

Melon alternative is Restream.io, which firstly started as a pipeline to stream to, then Restream will air your broadcast to many platform.
At the end of the day this is a good service, If you don’t want to use your main hardware, just start a streaming without any headache, for example from your laptop.
Oslo Editor Pro

Oslo is a browser-based video editor software, which getting more popular these days. The most questionable element, what we see in day-to-day basis in these softwares is the storage. How fast you can upload and download from their server, the edited video.
Oslo is a just a simply editing app, helps you to add some text, transition, and audio into your streamed content then download it, or one of the best feature, that you can instantly update to YouTube. Collaboration is also available, therefore If you have a dedicatod video editor, with using this software you can create easily comments.

Cross Clip Pro

Cross Clip Pro may get you the most value from these apps. Right now TikTok is king, in the name of social platforms. You can get thousands not 100k views on your videos. Cross Clip help you, with instant short clips from your uploaded media from Twitch or from YouTube without the uploading and downloading hassle.
In the free version they put watermark on the videos, and an outro clip is not included. But with Streamlabs Ultra you’ll get this app as well.
Also there’s an mobile app version of the tool, therefore you can create shorts while you on a bus, or you have a spare 5-10 min. Also the other great thing is that, the tool can instantly upload to the desired platform the created video, you just need to connect it.

There’s different themes, links, analytics and tipping inside Willow. Basically it’s a free tool, however If you’re not subscribe to Pro, than watermark will appear in your site, and features like pro themes, fonts, backgrounds and social icons will not be available for you.
Price
While Streamlabs Prime, was $12 per month, Streamlabs Ultra currently available for $19/mo or If you purchase the annual plan, it is $149. So If you pay yearly, then you stay with the $12/mo subscription. As we wrote in our Streamlabs OBS setup guide article, Prime was originally covered Streamlabs pro functions. Like more advanced transitions, widgets, animations, apps, merch store, audio library, and one of our most liked feature multi-streaming.
With Streamlabs Ultra, these features are remaining, and top on that, you get the tools, what we mentioned previously. As we add the monthly subscriptions from the different apps, you should pay $41.98/mo, If we add the Streamlabs Prime, itt will be $53.98/mo. So considered the $19/mo pricing, as well the yearly $149 plan, It is worth it by the pricing point.
However, we should check out, that these apps worth of your time? Are these helping you in daily streaming?
Is it worth it?
Through the article we analyzed every software and tool that comes in the subscription, and we can say that Streamlabs Ultra worth it, but not in every case. We can say, that there are alternatives and in some feature better tools, than Streamlabs can offer. However with these pack, your streaming needs is covered. In terms of video editing, link sharing, shorts, quick streaming, console streaming and donations.
And you don’t need to search for softwares and roundabouts for example to edit shorts quickly.
Let’s see the final conclusion. If you’re starting you’re streaming software or you’re the middle of it (~1000 follower on YouTube), then this subscription is one of your best choice. Why? Because you don’t have a team, or people that dedicated to edit your videos, etc. But with this package you will save a lot of time, what you can spend with creative content and strategy.
But If you have more followers than that, you may need a more elaborate design and videos. In that case you may need a whole video editing software.
