However most of the time you want to modify the resolution, or you just want to show the different part of the picture. For Example, you can crop out the two side of your webcam and only show the center, exclude your bedroom or other areas.

How to Crop in OBS?
1. Add a new source
The first step is to add a new source. In this tutorial we add a display capture.

2. Select your Source
After you added the source, you just need to click on the preview image, and you should see a red corner around it.

3. Crop in OBS with ALT button
The next step is to hold down ALT button, and move one of the edge or the border of the Source. The edge will turn green, which shows that you are currently crop the image in OBS.

You can pick any edge, and crop anywhere. After the cropping you can reposition the capture wherever you want.
After that add a new source, text or image to the scene to look fancier. You can use stream overlays, or you can also add music.
